Registration is now open for the Member Information Meeting and Special Members’ Meeting regarding the proposed merger between Implicity Financial’s parent company, Entegra Credit Union, and Outlook Financial’s parent company, Assiniboine Credit Union.

Special Members’ Meeting

A virtual Special Members’ Meeting has been convened for August 18, at 7:00 p.m. for members to hear the motion and for your last opportunity to vote. Voting will close at 7:30 p.m., after which the results from both credit unions will be announced.

Proposed Merger Vote

As we shared last week, Implicity Financial’s parent company Entegra Credit Union and Outlook Financial’s parent company Assiniboine Credit Union have put forth a proposal to merge. With a successful member vote on August 18, Implicity and Outlook will come together on January 1, 2022, as one organization. To learn more about Outlook Financial, please visit their website.

Voting now open!

Voting on the proposed merger will open Thursday, July 22. Once the voting portal is live, you’ll receive an email from; this is the 3rd party provider facilitating the secure voting process. The email will contain your login instructions and you can access the portal from Entegra’s website.

Merger Proposal

Entegra Credit Union – the parent company of Implicity Financial – is proposing an intention to merge with Assiniboine Credit Union – the parent company of Outlook Financial.

With a successful member vote on August 18, the two credit unions will come together on January 1, 2022, as Assiniboine Credit Union.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Will my funds remain guaranteed?
    Absolutely! As Entegra and Assiniboine are both based in Manitoba, all deposits and interest are 100% guaranteed by the Deposit Guarantee Corporation of Manitoba.
  • Where can I find out more about Entegra and Assiniboine?
    You can find more information about both Credit Unions at their respective websites: and
  • Will I get an opportunity to vote?
    Yes! We believe in the co-operative principle of “one member, one vote”, so all members – including our online divisions – have an equal say in the decision to merge the credit unions.
  • What if I’m already a member of Outlook Financial?
    As the merger implementation moves ahead in 2022, we will work with our members who also have products with Outlook Financial to determine the best way to consolidate their accounts.
  • Will you be matching Outlook’s rates in advance of the merger?
    It will be business as usual for Implicity until January 1, 2022, regardless of the outcome of the member vote. Once the implementation process starts, we’ll be reviewing all existing products and services from both Implicity and Outlook to determine what options make the most sense for our members.

Online Banking Password Update

In March of 2019, member passwords changed from all numbers to stronger alphanumeric passwords. In addition to this change, the maximum amount of time that you can use a password without updating it is one year. This means that you will need to change your password in early March if you haven’t updated it within the last year.

What the Process Will Look Like

  1. When you log in to Online Banking, you will see a screen asking you to enter a new password.
  2. First, you will have to re-enter your current password.
  3. Then you will be asked to enter your new password.

Password Requirements

  • Must be 8 to 30 characters
  • Must contain at least one uppercase, one lowercase and one number.
  • You can also include the following optional special characters @ # $ - | !

Note: This password update is applicable whether you use Online Banking or the mobile app.
