Merger Results

Dear Members,

We are thrilled to share with you that after a successful member vote, the proposed merger of Entegra Credit Union and Assiniboine Credit Union will proceed with the support of both memberships. Of the 733 votes cast by Entegra members, 68.35% voted in support of the merger, while 84% of the 2702 votes cast by Assiniboine members supported the merger. The credit unions will officially come together on January 1, 2022, as a stronger, unified credit union, in pursuit of our shared purpose of providing financial services for the benefit of all.

While we were confident that members would see the alignment in organizational values and the benefit of a merger for our employees, members, and communities, this positive vote and the democratic process by which it was obtained confirm that you recognize the importance of this merger to our collective future.

Understandably, you will be eager to learn about the impact this merger will have on you and your branch, your products and services, and your trusted Entegra team. In the short term, there will be no impact on you. While we don’t have all the answers today, we can say with absolute certainty that our primary goal when integrating the credit unions is to minimize the impact on all members. Staff from both credit unions will be working on the planning and implementation process together to achieve a smooth conversion. We are undertaking this work with the best interests of our members, employees, and communities as the focus.

Thank you for your continued loyalty, your engagement and support, and for the trust and confidence you continue to place in your credit union. We look forward to continuing to provide you with products, services, and personalized advice to reach your financial goals.

We are getting stronger by coming together.
